The Ignitor II and
Coil II combo is not for everyone. If your vehicle is primarily used for normal
driving and the engine is stock, the regular Ignitor and Coil will more than meet your
needs. But if you race, or if you want to realize every last ounce of performance
potential from your warmed-up engine, then the Ignitor II and Coil II are the way to fly.
Ignitor II Features:
|Adaptive Dwell Control - Dwell increases with
RPM to provide an average of 4 times the available energy between 3000 and 5000 RPM and
twice the available voltage at the plug.|

We at Retro Rockets were the
first to test the Ignitor II and Flame-Thrower II Coil versus points at the drag
strip. We ran a '69 Corvette with a mildly modified 350 engine. Here's what we
got for the average of our best three runs with each configuration. Note
the significant increase in mph.
