The Flame-Thrower II Coils are designed to be used with the Ignitor II and Ignitor III (12 V system), or with the standard Ignitor in an 8 cylinder/6V system. The epoxy version is recommended for high vibration environments such as off-road, racing, or marine applications.

We want to tell you up front that the PerTronix coils will be coming from China once our stock of American made coils is depleted. Problems with quality and timely delivery from American sources have forced the folks at PerTronix to look elsewhere. We are well aware that there is junk coming out of China, but there are also very high quality products made there. PerTronix sent a team to China to be sure that the manufacturer there could meet its specs and stringent quality requirements. The coils we are getting from China are excellent. We at Retro Rockets back them with a full year warranty.
