Electronic Distributors for 
British A+, A, & B Series 4 & 6 Cylinder Engines

These new distributors from PerTronix fit all A & B Series BMC 4 and 6 cylinder engines with the A Series dog drive.  They feature the reliable, performance-proven Ignitor electronic ignition and are available in either 12 V negative earth or 12 V positive earth.  They come with vacuum advance and a carefully tailored centrifugal advance curve for great performance, drivability, and fuel economy.   The simple two wire hook-up makes installation easy.

The HP Series of distributors for British Engines feature the high performance Ignitor II electronics (click here for Ignitor II features).  These have an aggressive mechanical advance curve and no vacuum advance. 

For the ultimate in electronic distributor performance, we offer the Ignitor III-equipped BMC distributors with variable dwell, multi-spark, and a built-in rev limiter (click here for Ignitor III features).

Note:  These will not replace distributors with mechanical tach drives.

Suppression-type spark plug wires required.  Do not use solid core wires.
